Søren Brorsen
Yes, we have (at least) one celebrity in the family and his name is Søren Brorsen. He was a politician and Denmarks Minister of Defence before and during World War II and a cousin to our great grandmother Birte Brorsen. He attended the Ribe Katedralskole in Ribe (same school as Jens, Dennis and Lise attended). Wiki says:
“Han var medlem af Folketinget 1907-1929 (for Ribekredsen) og igen 1932-1945 (for Kjellerupkredsen). Brorsen var forsvarsminister i Ministeriet Neergaard III 1922-1924 og i Ministeriet Madsen-Mygdal 1926-1929. Efter Danmarks besættelse blev han først minister uden portefølje iMinisteriet Stauning III og siden forsvarsminister resten af besættelsestiden.”
